How does the reset work?
Step 1: Book Your Initial Consultation We'll meet for 60 minutes (via Zoom or in-person) to discuss your symptoms, health history, and what you've already tried. I'll explain exactly what the hormone test measures and how it will help us identify the root cause of your recurrent infections.
Step 2: Complete Your Test at Home Your saliva hormone test kit will be sent directly to you. It's a simple self-collected swab that you do at home and post back to the lab. This test can be before or after the initial consultation (i recommend doing the test before so we can get right to treatment in the first consult).
Step 3: Results Review Consultation Within 2-3 weeks, your results will be ready. We'll meet for either the initial consult or return consult (depending how you want to structure your package). In this result review consult I'll walk you through every section of your report.
Step 4: Get Your Personalised Treatment Plan You'll leave with a clear, actionable treatment plan tailored to your results. This can include specific herbs, probiotics, dietary recommendations, and lifestyle modifications designed to rebalance your hormones long-term (so you can be symptom free sooner).
Step 5: Follow-Up Support We'll schedule your follow-up consultations as needed to monitor your progress, adjust your protocol, and retest if necessary.

We use comprehensive saliva hormone testing through Nutripath, which measures your sex hormones (estrogen, progesterone, testosterone) and DHEA. Depending on your symptoms, we may also request blood tests for thyroid and key nutrients like iron, vitamin D, and B12 through your Dr. If you wanted to see a sample test email me and i can send one over.

Saliva testing measures your free (bioavailable) hormones - the hormones that are actually active in your body. Blood tests measure total hormones (both bound and free), which doesn't always reflect what your cells are actually experiencing. Saliva testing is more accurate for sex and stress hormones and gives us a clearer picture of what's really happening.

No, not for this test. Hormones should be measured at different times depending on where you are at with your cycle. This test is done on day 21 of your cycle. I'll give you clear instructions on when to collect your samples based on your cycle. If you don't have regular cycles, we'll work with what we've got.

Hormonal contraception will suppress your natural hormones (that's how it works). If you want to see your natural hormone levels, you'd need to come off hormonal contraception for at least 3 months before testing.
